We are looking for a Backend engineer for a cool gaming company that has ambitiously developed worldwide recognition in the industry.
Our client is a B2B game provider with 10 years of experience on the market. Nowadays, their main focus is on regulated European Markets and they operate in 20+ different jurisdictions. As of 2022, the company is continuously working on enhancing the portfolio, encompassing best practices in order to meet the highest standards of technology, design, support, and interoperability.
Who we need
We are looking for a passionate Senior Backend Engineer (Node.js) to join the Platform Tribe and develop a system that can rapidly process up to 39 Million requests per second with 100% uptime.
Role overview
Expectations from candidates:
● Backend experience with Node.js● Experience in developing serverless applications based on the AWS platform● Strong understanding of Async and Multithreading approaches● Experience with Docker containers and microservice approaches.● Linux advanced user● Frontend experience — written from the scratch application with TypeScript.● Experience in writing unit tests for frontend and backend.● Experience with RDBMs or CDBMs.● Experience in CSS, SCSS.● Experience with development production-ready solutions
Preferable personal skills:
● Ability to deliver the result within the discussed deadline● Ability to relate positively to and engage with a wide range of people● Strong self-motivation, reliable and flexible team-player, who is ready to work in an Agile environment● High attention to details● Always seeking to improve processes and suggest alternatively better solutions
What will you be doing:
● Become part of a full-stack team of the product, which is positioned as an independent part of the platform● Develop brand new features with a distributed team and be proactive in terms of proposing new ideas● Develop features with a simple UI part on JS● Code and Architectural review● Transform requirements to a set of various types of tests● Proactive position in solution development, processes improvements● Handle complex problems that might arise during solution development and provide field support with creative and rapid solutions
